Montessori del Sol has the permission to secure emergency transportation for my child in the event of an illness or injury which requires emergency treatment. The emergency transportation service will determine the facility to which my child is transported. (In the event that permission is not given, the Parent will be responsible for providing instructions for alternative the actions to be taken)

Application Procedure

Applications are reviewed once the non-refundable application fee of CI$200 has been received. Each application for admission is assessed individually. Montessori del Sol reserves the right to place children in order to maintain balanced classes with respect to number of children, their ages, individual needs and compatibility with the Montessori philosophy.

Payments

Payments can be made online via Butterfield Bank to CI account number 02-101-033379 or US account number 01-201-033379. Please reference your child's full name when submitting your payment.

Acceptance

Upon acceptance, parents will be required to sign a school contract and secure their child's place with a non-refundable commitment fee of CI$500.00. Upon commencement of the school place, your commitment fee will cover the cost of your annual administration & supplies fee for the school year. When a class is full and a place is not immediately available, applicants will be advised by email and placed in our waiting pool. You will be contacted as and when a place becomes available for your child. Alternatively, if you choose to withdraw your application entirely, your name will be removed from our list and your application fee refunded.

Non-Discrimination Policy

We value diversity among our school community. Montessori del Sol has a non-discrimination policy with respect to race, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation and national or ethnic origin in relation to the admission of students and the employment of faculty and administrative staff.

Submission

By submitting this application, I confirm that I have read and understood the application procedure and agree that in the event either (i) that my child does not receive a place at Montessori del Sol or otherwise cannot attend Montessori del Sol or (ii) my child receives a place at Montessori del Sol but I decide that my child will not attend the school, the application fee of CI$200.00 will not be refunded. I agree and understand that the commitment fee to secure my child's place is also non-refundable.

What Happens Next?

Following the submission of your completed form, your child's application will be reviewed upon receipt of the non-refundable application fee of CI$200 and you can expect to hear from the school regarding your child's application within 7 days.
