When deciding on whether or not a Montessori education is right for your child, you must decide if it meets your child’s needs as well as your family’s values and beliefs. Parents need to be sure that the Montessori approach aligns with their educational expectations. Please consider the following statements:
If you agree with most of these questions, your child may be a good candidate for Montessori education. Your beliefs are similar to the underlying principles of Montessori education and your child may be well suited to our school.
If you disagree with most of these questions, it is recommended that you carefully consider whether Montessori is a fit for your family. Your child may experience confusion and unhappiness if home and school are not in alignment.
